AI & Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

Temporary, Full-time · Berlin

Your mission
We’re scaling our operations and need a builder who loves to automate, connect tools, and create systems that help the business run smarter and faster. You’ll sit at the intersection of operations, data, and AI, working hands-on to streamline workflows, migrate systems, and build the foundation for AI-powered operations.

Your Mission
  • Integrations & APIs: Connect and manage integrations across platforms like Monday.com, HubSpot, Google Workspace, and others.
  • Automation Workflows: Design and implement workflows in Zapier, Make (Integromat), or n8n to reduce manual work.
  • Custom Scripts: Write simple Python/JavaScript scripts when out-of-the-box integrations aren’t enough.
  • Data & Dashboards: Help us build and maintain a data layer (Airtable, SQL, Supabase, or equivalent) and connect it to BI tools for visualization.
  • Platform Migrations: Support system transitions (e.g., CRM, project management tools) with smooth data migration.
  • AI Agent Development: Prototype and deploy AI agents that support our team’s workflows (using OpenAI APIs, LangChain, etc.).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations and leadership to understand needs and build scalable solutions.

Your profile
  • Strong experience with automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n).
  • Working knowledge of APIs and integrations.
  • Comfortable writing scripts in Python or JavaScript.
  • Experience with databases and BI tools (Airtable, Postgres, BigQuery, Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar).
  • Familiarity with GitHub (basic version control, repo management).

Nice to have:
  • Experience with AI tools/LLM frameworks (OpenAI, LangChain, RAG).
You are
  • A builder: you enjoy connecting tools, making systems talk to each other, and eliminating manual work.
  • A systems thinker who enjoys simplifying and automating processes.
  • Comfortable in the middle ground: not a full-stack developer, but technical enough to solve problems with code when needed.
  • Curious about AI and automation and excited to bring new tools into real-world operations.
  • You like working closely with operations teams and seeing your work make an immediate impact.
